Top Coasters is the result of my two passions, that of web development and roller coasters. Before I came up with Top Coasters I had five other websites, all of which failed due to the fact they really did not have a purpose being on the web. After my last website went down the tubes I sought to make another website, one which this time, did have a purpose. I began to work on Top Coasters in mid-May of 2009, my original plans were simply to put together a database of roller coaster and amusement park statistics, I have since changed my idea. The current version of Top Coasters features much more, there are forums, chat rooms, maps, and many other features. The official debut of the website took place on June 25, 2009, on this day only the database existed however incomplete as it still is today. During the summer I continued to develop the website, until September came around, from September up until sometime during February 2010 development of the website came to a stand still, but now has picked back up and continues today.
